Due to a high amount of late registrations, we haven’t been able finalize a lot of the teams yet, so the practice schedule has been delayed a few days. The managers in the major, junior, and senior divisions will get their player assignments Wednesday night, and the younger divisions will get theirs Thursday night, so you should hear from a coach by this weekend. Games are scheduled to begin Saturday, September 18th. Thanks for your patience.

The 2010 fall season will be here soon, so don't miss out on getting your child on the field. The fall season is a great time for beginning players to learn the game and more experienced players to stay in shape. Go to the registration page for all the details.

Reina Fernandez, whose son Michael has played at CP for a number of seasons, is participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day breast cancer walk in October. July 21, 2010,9:53 pm10 Year Old All Stars Cruise to State Tournament
After winning four straight games to win the District 6 tournament, our 10 year old All Star baseball team moved on to the Section 7 tournament in Pinellas Park. They took on the champs of Districts 5, 6, and 15, and once again swept the tournament. They now advance to the state tournament which begins July 23 at Land O' Lakes Little League. Follow their progress at the District 6 website.

The 2010 Florida Little League District 6 All-Star tournament kicks off Saturday, June 26th with the 9-10 year old baseball and softball teams. Citrus Park Little League will host the baseball tournament, while Northside LL will host the softball tournament.

The "Tapi" Rodriguez Tournament of Champions is now under way. Each Little League park in district 6 sends their best team in each division to this Tampa tradition. Congratulations to the Junior Dodgers, Major Blue Jays, and Minor A Mets baseball teams and Minor A Heat, Major Heat, and Junior Bandits for representing Citrus Park Little League in the tournament.
